Barkha Roy, a talented and accomplished film producer, has always strived to make a positive impact on the cinema industry. With a family background in the film industry, including her sister, the renowned actress Reena Roy, Barkha has dedicated herself to producing a variety of films that keep audiences guessing.

Her successful productions include "Sanam Teri Kasam," a romantic film that has remained in the hearts of many, and "Karishma," which tells the story of a photographer's struggles and their consequences. Barkha's interest in diverse storylines has led her to contribute to various film genres.

One of her most impressive productions is the biographical documentary film "My Friend Hussain," which chronicles the personal life of the late painter Maqbool Fida Husain. Barkha was inspired to produce this film after meeting Husain ten years earlier in Bandra. Although she had originally planned to produce the film with Husain, she auditioned over 100 people to play in the film, and directed it herself.

To ensure the authenticity of the film, Barkha interviewed Husain's close friends, including SH Raza, Krishen Khanna, Ramkumar, Jatin Das, and Shahnaz Husain. She believed that only those closest to him could provide the necessary details, which were not available on Google. The film received critical acclaim and Barkha was praised for her production and direction.

Despite her success, Barkha has not produced any films since "My Friend Hussain." In 2019, she was in the news after the death of her ex-husband, Mahesh Anand, was reported on social media. Barkha's contributions to the film industry have shown that women can be just as successful as men, and her dedication to producing diverse stories has helped to enrich cinema.
