Dayana Erappa also known as Dayana is an Indian Tamil Actor and who predominantly working as a Indian model. She has made her debut role with Ace Indian Director Mani Ratnam's film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam as a female lead with Actor Silambarasan.

She was born in Coorg, a place which is located at Kodagu district, Karnataka. Her father is a business man & he owns a tea estate farm in coorg, Kodagu district, Karnataka. She was completed her school studies in Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan Kodagu Vidayala in Madikeri, a small town which is located at Karnataka State. After that she was completed and graduated from Baldwin Methodist College.

She had an idea in modeling after her college completion. She started to work with the leading top model brands such as KingFisher Calender. Later on she has worked with top Indian fashion designers Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani, and Anitha Dongre. She walked out in so many international ramps such as Milan Fashion Week, Splash Fashion Show in Dubai, fashion week in Colombo and has participated few more ramp shows in the several east countries.

In 2018, Indian Film Director Mani Ratham has started his new project Named Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. He has started to search a new pair for Simbhu role in his film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. Finally she was found by him and he confirms her presence in the Chekka Chivantha Vaannam as a debut actress.[11] Finally She had got a chance to act with Simbhu in the Mani Ratnam's Tamil Film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
