Arushi Nishank is an Indian actress, dancer & model who is predominantly known for her work in the Indian film industry. She has appeared in Hindi cinema and web series.

Career

Nishank is a disciple of Birju Maharaj. She has choreographed dance performances such as "Ganga Avataran", a story of Goddess Ganga coming to earth. She received the Pride Of Uttarakhand Award in 2017. She has a postgraduate diploma in management from Cambridge Assessment International Education. She is also the chairperson of Himalayan Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.In 2018, Nishank produced a regional film, Major Nirala, based on a novel written by her father Ramesh Pokhriyal.Arushi Nishank who recently seen in her first debut music video teaser “Wafa Na Raas Aayee” is now released on the official YouTube channel of T-Series.

Early life and education

Arushi Nishank was born (Father: Ramesh Pokhriyal, Mother: Kusum Kanta Pokhriyal) in Kotdwara, Uttarakhand to a financially humble family, where her father was the 5th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand between 27 June 2009 – 11 September 2011. Nishank completed her PhD in management from Uttarakhand Technical University in 2022.

Personal life

Nishank is the eldest daughter of Kusum Kanta Pokhriyal and Ramesh Pokhriyal, the former Union Cabinet Minister for Education of India (formerly Ministry of Human Resources Development) and the former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. She married Abhinav Pant on 24 January 2015.
