Nandi The Savior Is A Superhero Movie Inspired From Indian Mythology Says Sunil Prem Vyas

Mumbai, 11th January 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Filmmaker Sunil Prem Vyas says his forthcoming animation movie, Nandi - The Savior is infused in Indian mythology and will be ground-breaking superhero movie from India.

In an exclusive interaction with NewsHelpline, we urged filmmaker to divulge some information about the project and its technical aspect. He said, “It is superhero film and we’re making it for kids and families. I don’t think someone has made an animation film across world with this method, I haven’t seen any animation film of this look as well, which I am making. We’re going for graphic novel look, the look is closer to 2D, but the treatment of the film is 3D. I think the movie will create a new genre by itself, a 2.5 D format”

The animation film is inspired from mythology but set in contemporary times. Sunil said, “In India mythology, Nandi is considered as the first disciple of lord Shiva, and as the story goes, Nandi drank few drops of poison just like Lord Shiva and attainted immortality, but the real question was how to bring Nandi in this contemporary world. So, we have created a child avatar, a human child in this current time”

Further adding about the project, Sunil said, “Our intentions are good with this movie, a superhero is due from India, of international standards, and I think we have created such a superhero. It is derived from Indian mythology, set in contemporary world, with high emotional quotient and technological advancement”

The film is set to hit the cinema halls in 2022, following an OTT and Television release.
