Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's upcoming film, 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' is all set to woo the audience at The Rome Film Fest 2018, confirms the productions house on social media.

The official handle of ROMP pictures just confirmed the news that “Mere Pyare Prime Minister” is heading towards The Rome Film Fest 2018.

The film “Mere Pyare Prime Minister” focuses on the issue of open defecation and lack of sanitation in the country. The film revolves around four kids living in a Mumbai slum. One of them wants to build a toilet for his single mother and makes an appeal to the Prime Minister.

The film is shot at real locations in Mumbai and highlights a unique mother-son relationship. It stars the National award-winning actress Anjali Patil in the role of a young mother.

The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and screenplay is written by Hussain Dalal and Manoj Mairta.
