Aamir wasn’t bothered about his leaked pictures from ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ says Kiran Rao
Filmmaker Kiran Rao attended special screening of ‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’ on Monday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Kiran stated that his husband Aamir Khan wasn’t bothered when his look from his upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan leaked recently.
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan’s look from their upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan leaked while they were shooting of the film and there were reports that Aamir was disappointed with it, when asked Kiran about that, she said, “No.. Aamir doesn’t get bothered about these things. I love his look in the film. I also like Amitji and Fatima’s look from the film. Actually it’s a period film so in that film, actors have experimented with their look. Infact, all characters look in that film is really interesting”
Recently, team of ‘Secret Superstar’ released a special video which show making for Aamir khan’s look in the film in which he plays role of quirky music composer Shakti Kumar, talking about that , Kiran said, “It was lot of fun designing it but it was difficult in terms of experimenting with it. I was more on conservative side and I was thinking it was too cheap and terrible but the way entire team was putting their effort in terms of experimenting with Aamir’s look, it was lot of fun and it has brought juice in his character”.
There was news that Italian actress and model Monica Belluci is coming to India to attend MAMI event, being a chairperson of MAMI, Kiran said, “Yes. Monica Belluci is coming. She will be given special award for women that we are instituting from this year and we are really excited for that. She is well known actress and personality of the world so we are most delighted to host her”
Kiran recently sung a promotional song for Paani Foundation so when asked her is there any plans to feature onscreen, to that, Kiran said, “I don’t have any intension to come onscreen. There has been long gap since I wrote and directed my last film so after release of Secret Superstar, hopefully I will get some time to write a story and then I will direct it”
Talking about film Tu hai Mera Sunday, Kiran said, “I wanted to see this film from almost last one year but each time somehow I used to miss it. I am looking forward to this film. The film is looking cute, sweet and heartwarming. I know the actors who are working in it so I wish them all the luck. They are going out in cinemas so I hope people will like this film. Last year this film screened at MAMI and I feel people won’t be disappointed with this film.”
Secret Superstar stars Zaira Wasim, Aamir Khan and Meher Vij in lead roles. It is directed by Advait Chandan and it is produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.
Secret Superstar is releasing on 19th October, 2017.
